This has got to be one of my favorite hikes of all time! It was so unbelievably beautiful. It was actually 4.6mi each way and windy switchbacks the entire time, but it was well worth it. at every turn the whole valley opens up to breathtaking vistas and sheer cliffs. It ends with seeing the Jewel of the valley, Half Dome. If you ever have a chance to do this take it!

That is so AWESOME and I am more than a little jealous that you are hiking in December! O, remember the good old hikes with the girls at Uinta!? Bet this one with Mike was a little better!: )you know without the moans groans and complaints of teen girls... Miss you!
Yes It was awesome but I had a flash back of being called "Elky" and trying to keep A.C. from falling off a cliff!Good Times!
